The structure of hammer mill

Hammer mill consists of a frame, body, a rotor, a hammer blade, and a transmission system. The bottom body is integrated with the frame, firmly connected with the reinforced concrete foundation with anchor bolts, and rubber damping pads are used at the joints. The bottom body is equipped with a screen, the upper body is welded with tooth plates, and the upper part is equipped with water spray pipes.

Principle of Hammer mill and use

After the material enter the hammer mill through the feeding inlet, they are repeatedly hit and collided by the high-speed rotating hammer and the fixed tooth plate, and the material between the screen and the hammer is subjected to strong friction. Under the action of friction, the cells of the police block are broken and the starch granules are released from them, which pass through the sieve and fall into the slurry pool. According to the research and demonstration of many Chinese and foreign experts, the powder slurry of the police block should not be too fine, the reasons are:

1. If the crushing time is too long, the starch granules will be damaged;
2. The water-insoluble pectin adheres to the fine slag and the damaged starch granules, which makes the separation process more difficult, affects the quality of the starch, and reduces the yield instead.
