What do we need to do before installing the steam boiler for cassava flour processing plant?

The installation of the steam boiler should follow up the boiler drawings and “Installation and Operation Manual”, and must be carefully planned and arranged in advance to make the installation work go smoothly.

Boiler walls, flue gas ducts, various thermal equipment, thermal pipes and valves should have good sealing and thermal insulation properties. When the ambient temperature is 25°C, the temperature of the outer surface of the furnace 300mm away from the door (hole) shall not exceed 50°C, the furnace roof shall not exceed 70°C, and the surface temperature of various thermal equipment, heat pipes and valves shall not exceed 50°C.

8.Hydrostatic test

After the final assembly of the steam boiler is completed, a hydraulic test should be carried out. During the pressure test, the surrounding air should not be lower than 5°C, and the water temperature should not be lower than the dew point temperature. The pressure stabilization time is 20 minutes; there are no water droplets and water mist on the metal wall and welding seam of the pressure test element, and there is no residual deformation after the hydraulic test, which means that the hydraulic test is qualified.

9.Cooking stove

Before the new boiler is used, it must be boiled, and a solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and trisodium phosphate (Na3PO4) must be added to the furnace.
